Paganism 201, Monday, March 8th at 7:30 p.m. in the Salon; Please call the office at 619-562-0833 to register. This will be a more indepth look at Paganism and be the beginning, I hope, of setting up a Circle so we can continue to meet and explore our spiritual Pagan paths together.
We'll be using the book Paganism An Introduction to Earth-Centered Religions by Joyce and River Higginbotham, as our guide in the beginning. Right now you don’t need to buy the book, and may not ever unless you'd like to.
We'll look more in depth at who is a Pagan, what they do and when they do it, with a closer look at the Wheel of the Year. We'll look at Pagan rites of passage, explore various rituals, tools, and symbols used. Lastly we'll look at what do Pagans believe and the principles of Paganism. Each chapter has questions for discussion and thoughts to take home for more exploration on your own.
