Freethinkers  Don’t miss Summit Freethinker Seminar on Freethinker Belief Systems.  The goal is to examine objectively some of the beliefs systems associated with Freethinkers over the years (e.g. atheism, agnosticism, skepticism, humanism) to see whether these belief systems have any practical value in today’s society: Can they serve as a basis for public policy? For the development of a superior moral/ethical code? For making the trains run on time? For solving complex social problems, e.g. assisted suicide, abortion rights? Provide comfort to those suffering emotionally? The speakers are: Atheist (Richard Wilkie), agnostic (Diane Slagle), skeptic (Mark Wheeler), affirmative (Carol Rawlins), and humanist (Charles Jacobson).
